Secure and Privacy-Preserving Credentials for E-ID - Final Report (Dengler, Humbert, Gasser 2026)¶
Last modified: 2026-10-28
Summary¶
Final (Milestone 4) report for Innosuisse grant 101.292 IP-ICT between EPFL and SICPA. Presents a simplified Spartan-based ZKP backend that proves arbitrary predicates over unmodified SD-JWT credentials as used in the Swiss e-ID (swiyu), including holder binding, with benchmarks on mobile phones (e.g. an age proof in about 4.5s on a mid-range Android phone with precomputation), a third-party security review, and integration into SICPA's Digital Trust Platform. Compares the approach with Longfellow, Crescent and OpenAC.
