Summary

NIST standard (2015) specifying the Keccak-based SHA-3 hash functions and the SHAKE extendable-output functions. Relevant to ZKPs as a common Fiat-Shamir/Merkle hash choice and as a hash whose in-circuit cost is often compared against SHA-256 and algebraic hashes.
