Federal Council consultation (opened 20 June 2025) on the implementing ordinance of the Swiss E-ID Act. The draft regulates eligibility and issuance of the E-ID, how verifiers use the trust infrastructure and issue their own credentials, limits on data that verifiers may request and store, and a complaint procedure that can flag over-asking verifiers in the trust registry.
