Revisiting Keyed-Verification Anonymous Credentials (Orrù 2025)¶
Last modified: 2026-10-27
Summary¶
Revisits the keyed-verification anonymous credential schemes CMZ and BBS-MAC, with new constructions and security analysis (ACM CCS 2025). It comes at a time when KVACs are being deployed (Signal) and proposed by Apple and Google to replace token systems like Privacy Pass. BL26-SoK-AnonCreds cites it as a basis for pairing-free and server-aided credentials.
